The Game Clears Up Post Calling Out YG & Mustard

The Compton rapper initially took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday (August 28) and shared a cryptic post saying he was “looking for” the rapper and producer.

Referring to YG and Mustard by their birth names, he wrote: “Aye Keenon & Dijon…Jayceon looking for yall [blood droplet emoji] [100 emoji] [exclamation marks emoji] . Lul ghetto name havin n-ggas [crying face emojis] .”

In a follow-up slide, he added: “rooting for somebody & finding out they secretly hate u is so crazy LMAO like OH!? Secret haters are clutch.. yall make ballin in yo face worth it,” which some interpreted to be directed at the “Who do You Love?” hitmakers.

However, The Game later denied that the post was about them and clarified that there’s no bad blood between himself, YG and Mustard.

“@yg & @mustard My n-ggas 5L Go twist a backwood before you twist that #Bompton [blood drop emoji] [100 emoji] .”

The confusion comes shortly after The Game supported YG by joining his peace walk in Compton earlier this month.

The Kommunity Service rapper led a march through the streets of his hometown in a bid to promote peace and unity between two of its rival gangs.

YG was joined by members of the Treetop Pirus and Fruit Town Pirus, among others, as he sought to end the years-long feud between the warring Bloods factions.

“We came together. My hood and the Fruit Town Pirus across the street, we’ve been at war for, like, the last 10 years. We just enemies. So I felt like we all needed to come together and walk down our main street,” he told a reporter (via TMZ).

He added: “We all from Piru so we don’t really need to be beefing with each other. We’ve been doing that shit for years so it’s time to like… if we can clean it, clean it up. There’s been a lot of conversations about that shit so I put some energy towards it and we got it right.”

As for Mustard, fans would be forgiven for thinking there might be tension between The Game and the producer after they took opposing sides in the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef.

The “Hate It or Love It” hitmaker has firmly sided with Drizzy, even releasing a diss track aimed at Rick Ross for repeatedly taunting the 6 God.

Mustard, meanwhile, produced Kendrick’s chart-topping diss track “Not Like Us” and recently said he’s no longer interested in collaborating with Drake who he called “a strange guy.”
