Christie Brinkley, 40, reunites with Chevy Chase, 80, over 40 years after they costarred in the hit movie Vacation

Christie Brinkleyand Chevy Chase have reunited.

On Monday, the 70-year-old supermodel and the 80-year-old Saturday Night Live veteran were seen side-by-side in the back of a car.

The actors co-starred in the hit 1983 movie National Lampoon’s Vacation.

‘Vacation is always over too soon! @chevychase’ the blonde captioned the Instagram photos and video.

Fellow model Paulina Porizkova hit the like button as did Christie’s daughters Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Cook.

Christie played the hot girl who drove a red Ferrari.

She drove Chevy’s bumbling dad Clark Griswold off the road when she winked at him from the sportscar.

His wife Ellen, played by Beverly D’Angelo, was asleep.

Later, Christie was seen in a hotel swimming pool when Chevy’s Clark ran into her and decided to join her, which ticked off his spouse.

Though Christie did not have much of a role, she was unforgettable and to this day is identified as one of the highlights of the comedy. 

In February Brinkley celebrated turning 70-years-old.

‘This is 70, and you’ve nothing to fear, Because you can make it your own very favorite year!’ wrote the SI model in her caption.

‘It’s up to you, it’s in your power. To choose to celebrate, instead of cower. You know what to do, Exercise and eat right, use your sunblock and don’t sit under overhead lights!

The siren has three kids with three different men: Alexa Ray Joel with Billy Joel, Jack Paris Brinkley Cook with Richard Taubman and Sailor Brinkley Cook with Peter Cook.

Alexa then said: ‘Happy Birthday To This Ever-Beautiful, Pure, N’ Precious Mother O’ Mine… Who Always Feels Like Home To Me. Last week the the Vacation actress talked about how she has been able to maintain her youthful appearance all these decades after fame hit in the 1970s.

The beauty chatted with People, saying she is fine with having a few lines here and there, and also admitting she has tried Botox in the past but is not fond of doing too much to her visage.

In the magazine the focus is also on looking fabulous while letting herself age naturally. ‘I want to accept certain wrinkles. That’s the way I’m approaching aging,’ said the former Vogue cover girl.

‘Sometimes when people get older, and they overdo it, they can look waxy and — I don’t know what the word is — preserved or something. I want a little life to show on my face, you know?’

Twice a year she does resurfacing Fraxel treatments to help with sun damage, she shared.

To promote the interview she took to Instagram with a funny post. ‘I still have a few days left of my Sexy Sixties before I dance into my Sensational Seventies on February 2nd,’ began the ex of crooner Billy Joel.

‘I already know it’s going to be a spectacular year!’

The mother of three then added: ‘I know because that’s my plan and I’m old enough to know that it’s up to me to make sure of it!

‘I always used to say to my kids go out and make it a great day and now I’m saying to myself that I’m gonna make it a great year.’

She then said she has had ‘a lot of close calls’ and she feels ‘lucky and grateful to be here’ – she is likely referring to her ski accident.

She added, ‘I just can’t believe that I got here so FAST! It’s speeds by so my advice to all you young-ins out there …Love, laugh, and LIVE IT UP! .’

Last summer the Vogue model said she will still be posing in her bikinis for social media when she hits 70 as she feels as good as she did 40 years ago.

‘I feel strong,’ the actress told People. ‘I pretty much feel, as I’m approaching 70, the same way that I felt when I was approaching 30. I feel good.’

She talked to the publication while hosting Pet Life Unlimited’s Furever Young senior dog adoption event at the Animal Haven shelter in New York City.

‘I feel like the number doesn’t match my spirit, so I may as well just keep spiriting on,’ she added. ‘I think they all signal to us certain things,’ she explained.

But she feels fabulous. ‘I’ve been shocked by not feeling the way I thought I was supposed to be feeling at that age,’ she explained.

‘I don’t believe that focusing on age is going to make you feel any better about it.’ And she shared her tip for looking young: ‘I think curiosity in the world around you and just wanting to do something with each day, that is what keeps you young and going,’ she noted.

In 2022 the star talked about her figure. The actress was seen in a crop top and shorts while stretching on the beach as she gave some sound advice.

‘When you eat too much, it’s not as easy to lose the weight, so here’s a tip that’s tried and true, that will make you feel like your best you,’ said the model.

She said to ‘avoid the sugar and do exercise, it’s not about the size of your thighs.’

The blonde also said, ‘Vibrant good health will be your prize! Reminder this month when you buy a bottle, you’ll put planting trees into full throttle!

On her Insta stories she broke down her healthy diet tricks that don’t skimp on flavor but rely heavily on freshly picked fruit.

In one post she shared a photo of freshly cut papaya with greens on top.

Over the photo the Cover Girl model wrote, ‘My neighbors grew this papaya! Look at the rich color! I’m planting the seeds from this papaya!’
