Thousands of civilians have fled the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk as Russian forces start to target the area, with fire and rescue teams being called out every day.
The city is the main supply hub for Ukrainian forces. As Russia has strengthened its grip on the Donbas, they’ve sharpened their focus on Pokrovsk, with one resident saying the area is now a “dead city”.
Troops on the frontline in the region have told Sky News that they are struggling to defend it.
Sky’s International Correspondent Alex Rossi talks to troops and residents who remain living in the line of fire.

If all efforts were centered at diplomatic approach,this war couldn't have happened in the first place but both parties in this war including Ukraine takes responsibilities for what is happening now in a proxy war between the West and Russia.
