Duh… Civilization would be impossible without mining. To expect that we can work to undo the damages created by emitting 51 billion tons of greenhouse gases pollution into our globally shared atmosphere annually without mining is mindless. Desperate for content our sad media puts out useless blather. Not a day goes by without another climate catastrophe killing people and livestock, destroying communities.
@nikkionyemma5990
The materials mentioned in the video are mined unethically in Africa. The pollution and emissions that come from those mines cause so much damage to the planet (and people) that any good that comes of electric cars, leaf blowers, solar panels is null

Republicans fault for climate change global warming

And who said lithium battery was considered better for the environment. That is probably one of the most toxics and most dangerous substance you could have with the environment.

We can also acquire materials from salt water extractions and other materials are being developed as well. The U.S has a large supply in Arkansas with existing industries in place. Large supplies in South America as well. I hope this doesn't turn into a smash and grab industry without and thought to the environment and people living in these areas.
@savageusa8939
The output for all green energy solutions are way less than than the input to create said energies. Rendering this push as pointless, wasteful, and not solving the problem.
@WhyYoukeepspying
Understand this whether your blind deaf stupid or dumb i have the power to initiate the war powers at any given time. When your that field know that youll be living in my world

Extract The Lithium From The Marcellus Gas Fields In Penn.
@walterlutz895
Batteries are big money, and a stupid solution. There are other storage solutions, not as efficient, but cleaner. I make a surplus everyday on my off grid system, so who cares. This is just the next cash cow, they are not serious about our planet health.
@posthocprior
I assume the title is meant to be “How the fight against climate change…” — not “for”.
