A thermal imaging drone led deputies to a missing 10-year-old girl in the dense woods of Webster Parish, Louisiana. The girl, who had been missing for hours, was found curled up in a ball, asleep. David Muir reports.

Thank goodness for this technology. It's proven to be very effective in locating lost people and animals in dense vegetation.
Im glad this little girl was found, rescued, and is now back home.

Whyyyyy do kids do this? Why do they just wonder off into the woods and then just lay down in the dirt? Over the past like 5 months I've seen a few videos of kids being found by drones after getting lost in the woods and they were all sleeping in the grass somewhere. No survival instincts at all.

I'm not sure what thermal imaging technology they were using but with FLIR, she would have lit up like a Christmas tree. Hats off to the drone supplier. We needed some good news in the country that cannot be corrupted by conspiracy theories.
