She almost died while giving birth to her healthy daughter. Thank God she and her daughter are alive and her daughter is healthy. Was she wanting a late term abortion? Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath, which includes their goal to save lives. I imagine the influx of high risk pregnancies crossing the southern boarder have a great deal of impact. The triage would be for the more at risk pregnancy putting the less risky aka white wealthy pregnancy getting pushed to the back.

Wow people here are dumb. There are many reasons for the increase, most of which pertain to the health of the mother. Weight, diabetes, heart disease, etc.
And those of you who blame Trump and the republicans, read something. They want to give the power to the states to decide. If you don’t like how your state works, move or work hard to get it changed.
Now ask yourself why did the news pick this particular instance out of all the maternal incidents or deaths that occurred, because the message fit their agenda.
