The late Christopher Reeve’s children open up to ET’s Rachel Smith about honoring their parents in ‘Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,’ in theaters for one day only on Sept. 21, followed by an encore performance on Sept. 25. will, Alexandra and Matthew Reeve take Superman fans inside their father’s triumphs and tragedies with new sit-down interviews and rare home movies. Christopher Reeve died at 52 years old in 2004, nearly a decade after a horse-riding injury paralyzed him from the neck down. Their mother, Dana Reeve, died months later from lung cancer.

I met Christopher Reeve him many years ago before his tragic accident. i just turned 84 my memory is slipping. i met him in clothing store in Elmsford NY forgot the name of the store. i saw him standing near me, and i said to myself that looks like Super Man and went over and asked him if he was. He looked at me with a puzzled look and said no I think i just stared and was surprised. When he left i continued shopping i looked over and he standing with his young son with that familar smile and they were laughing. I will never foget the meeting. I was sorry of his accident and then his passing gone to soon but marvelous leagcy. Blessings to the family. All believers in God will see there Love ones again.🙏❤️
