So, what's new about using black bodies without the subject's consent? That it has persisted into the 21st century? It must be a European theme to not view black people as human beings. Here's a brief rundown of examples:
The Tuskegee airmen were victims of experiments without their approval; Henrietta Lack was the victim of unauthorized cell harvesting in 1951; the CIA or its predecessor agency did numerous chemical or drug experiments on homeless folks, most of them blacks; the unauthorized use of child skulls of slain Move activists (of Philadelphia) in schools was the subject of controversy not that long ago; Cameroonian women underwent hysterectomies without consent in U.S. immigration detention centers; and in Europe, the French even stuffed the body of a slain African woman as a "museum piece"! J.D. Vance and Trump have no qualms about doubling down on inane, baseless crackpot stories about Haitians in Springfield—why? Because they assume being racist against black people and not seeing them as human beings has no liability and has become socially acceptable!
