Trade secretary Jonathan Reynolds discusses MPs balloting on slicing wintry weather gasoline allowance for hundreds of pensioners and the continued jail situation in England and Wales.

The Daily Mirror reported in July that the Prime Minister, in this case Starmer, earns two salaries. The first is £91,346 for being an MP, and the second is the £80,807 for being the PM.
MPs are able to claim allowances to cover the costs of running an office and employing staff, and maintaining a constituency residence while the elderly and poor struggle or freeze this winter?
Their wages come from the taxes WE PAY and Starmer has the audacity to talk down to us the way he does, allow illegal immigrants and asylum seekers into our country to swamp us, attack us and get better treatment than us.
I think that if they make a pigs ear out of the job they should repay their wages.

We find over £4.3bn to host refugees (with heating & food) and we’ve found money to give a bumper pay rise to train drivers yet we cant find the £1.4bn to help warm the homes of our vulnerable elderly who have worked and paid taxes and all their lives. 1/6 pensioners live in poverty, energy prices are rising in Oct & again in January. This will leave many at risk of death living in cold damp conditions – THIS IS UNBELIEVABLY CRUEL!!! We need to protect our elderly – We need to be their voice – We need to fight this CRUEL and HEARTLESS decision!!
