Mahomes and Rice had a serious training session during the off-season building trust. Of course, Mahomes will have to make good use of that investment. Travis will also be good, but there is nothing wrong with Mahomes giving the others the same opportunities on the field to get them shine as well.
Simply put, Mahomes is helping put 'food' and other good opportunities on the table for the other guys. Would the world have noticed how great Rice is if Mahomes was throwing to only Travis? And those lashing out at Travis must know that if Mahomes doesn't throw the ball to him, there isn't going to be any catch. And there is nothing wrong with that cos it's a team sport.
