Kim Kardashian Hires Private Investigator, Why?

Kim Kardashian hired a private investigator recently. She spoke about the incident and said that she needed help finding a person, and the PI was able to help. This was important, as she needed this to keep her and her family safe.

The investigator was hired when a stalker reportedly appeared at her Malibu mansion. The PI tracked down the alleged stalker and luckily, helped her end the threat.

Court documents (via In Touch Weekly) revealed Kim, 43, hired Black Box Security Inc., an L.A.-based PI firm, to track down Melvin Jeffery Conley. John Romero is the former LAPD captain who submitted a declaration in court on behalf of Kim’s effort to obtain a permanent restraining order against Melvin.

Romero had trouble locating Conley at first. He went to his mother’s house in Sacramento, but she said he was no longer living there. She said he was “homeless in the Los Angeles area.” He then said he tried calling Conley, but the phone went straight to messages. Sadly, Romero has not found Melvin yet. However, a hearing was held on September 20, and a judge gave Kim Kardashian more time to serve Melvin. The next hearing is on November 1.

Kim filed her petition in Los Angeles Superior Court, pleading for protection for her and her children, North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5. The temporary restraining order that Kim was granted remains in effect.

Emma Roberts Helped Kim Kardashian Find The Stalker’s Identity

Kim Kardashian starred in American Horror Story with Emma Roberts. It was Emma who helped warn Kim about the alleged stalker. She said that Melvin broke into her home and expressed a desire to meet Kim.

“I am informed and believe that my security, with the assistance of [Emma] , was able to make contact with this man by telephone. During that call, the man admitted entering [Emma’s] home without her permission,” Kim wrote in her petition for protection.

Emma Roberts also obtained a restraining order against Melvin earlier in 2024.

Kim said she believed Melvin showed up at Kris Jenner’s house on May 9. Her security team blocked him then. On July 8, she said he showed up at the fence of her Malibu home. One of Kim’s security team members said he thought Melvin was about to jump the fence before they were able to deter him.
