Dozens of pensioners gather outside the Labour conference in Liverpool to protest against the decision by the chancellor, Rachel Reeves, to cut winter fuel payments to millions of pensioners, as the government grapples with how to fill a £22bn budget gap. Reeves defended the plan during her speech at the conference, saying: ‘I know that not everyone in this hall or in the country will agree with every decision that I make’. Opponents of the plan argue that many pensioners who do not qualify for the fuel payment could still struggle to pay bills
Reeves could change fiscal rules to allow more capital spending, say sources

Reeves and gang are finished.

I think Labour should demand energy companies reduce bills for pensioners. Plenty of IAPs are comfortably off so any tax funded benifet should only go to those in need

Labour are utterly sickening

Give it a few months and you will see a rise in Cannabis farms and dealing from OAPs.
You might get that sweet old lady from the bus stop asking you if you are interested in some greens that she has to sell.🤡

I hear the Government may sanction the use of long-range missiles. Is that against Russia or pensioners?
@matsuz100
As a pensioner I'm thinking Labour stop the fuel allowance for the pensioner's because most pensioner's voted Conservative's, they seem very Trible.
