Fresh wave of Israeli strikes in Lebanon leaves scores dead

At least 180 people have been killed and 700 injured in ongoing Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, the country’s health ministry has said, the heaviest daily toll in nearly a year of cross-border clashes.

Here's a brief answer according to the Jerusalem Post: Hesbollah was formed as a respjnse movement to 1982 Israel invasion of Lebanon. Israel BIRTHED the group they are finghting now and as usual thwy are killing thousands of civilians along the way.
