The Labour Party Conference has got underway in Liverpool today, but not in the way the Prime Minister would have hoped, as he continues to try to draw a line under a row over accepting gifts.
Before Sir Keir Starmer even arrived in Liverpool thousands of protesters took to the streets on the periphery of the conference for the UK’s first pro-Palestine national march to be staged outside London.
