  1. Excellent!! So grateful that the African American Woman that where Instrumental in the Space Race to be the First to put Man on the Moon are being Recognized and Awarded!!😊

  2. I hope these white peoples are listening to what they are saying!!!! Now tell the truth about all of our contributions!!!! I’m so proud to be a black woman who came via black slaves. Can we now get our reparations for our parents contributions in building this nation for free!!! Also, all that has been stolen from us as well. The time is now!!!

  3. Congrats Ladies! Job well done!👏 👏 👏 👏

  4. Look at my beautiful indigenous, original, dark copper coulored, niji sista's. We are the reason that all things invented is 100% by us. And nothing that does exist would exist without us. Worldwide we have a proud history, present and future.

  5. I'm absolutely thrilled that the 4 honorees are all members of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Inc. I was also moved by Congression Jeffries' inspirational speech that included, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." These women were clearly called by God for "…such a time as this…," for the space program during a time of rampant discrimination. God allowed the brilliance of these women to shine at a critical point in history.

  6. Wow! Wish I was there! How wonderful! Congratulations! 🇺🇸✌🏽💙🇺🇸

  7. Long overdue, yet CONGRATULATIONS to these amazing, outstanding ladies who finally get their achievements recognized! Wish this was taught in schools decades ago, but now allow historical moments to be had for all future generations! ✌🏽💙🙏🏽

  8. We’ll pass due. 🇺🇸 🌍🪐🛰️🚀🗺️🧭📈📊📚

  9. It's about time

  10. WOW! Better late than never.
We-the-people, of the USA appreciate your contribution to mankind.
    Thank you ❤

  11. Wow! It was a Gift & a wonderful pleasure too witness the Honor bestowed on those 4 Women who made it possible for man too orbit the moon & land on it. Thank you for your contrabutions of Brilliant Math that made it possible.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊

  12. So mike johnson finally did something.
I love Hidden Figures. Awesome ladies.

  13. I am happy President Obama presented her with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015 while she was still alive.

  14. For me in hidden Figures, it was when the head of the program took down the restroom skin and said at nasal we don't see color anymore

  15. Someone called this a DEI medal ceremony. We I say:
And tell me again? What's wrong with EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION. The problem is too many people are trying to speak evil of these fine qualities and aspirations while trying to get people to accept all the filth, racism and hateful exclusion that we have in America today. THAT'S THE REAL PROBLEM. Too many folks with evil aspirations trying make Evil acceptable while denigrating what's Good and Right.

It's about time this Good and Right ceremony was FINALLY DONE.

  16. And for those who say get out of our country leave. Stop

  17. Took long enough!!!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

  18. Honorable….. Mike Johnson…..When?!?!?

  19. We are still needed!🙏🏿

  20. Truly, Congratulations to these extraordinary Women who were the backbone and integral part of the NASA program. And so where is Kevin Costner?? He was really the one who brought all this to light. NASA, Congress or no one else would've even bothered to let the world know of Black Women's contribution to the space race. Thanks Kevin Costner for bringing to the public what no one else would. Shout out to you.
Again Congratulations to these remarkable women with the bestowing of The Congressional Gold Medal. 💯🤎👏🏾👍🏾❤👍🏾👏🏾🤎💯

  21. I've gone through so much Trump fatigue. I needed this "45-day" energy boost.

  22. From the Space Race the natural progression must be Humanity's Place in Space. It has been shown that achieving this requires the unity of Humanity.

  23. Would you agree that technology has evolved quite dramatically since December 1972 ? So if 🇺🇸astronauts were on the moon during December 1972 how come they haven’t been back since ? There’s been no lack or shortage of lip promotion from NASA about a moon return however they always find a way to make an excuse as to why they haven’t returned. It’s always in the news cycle a return trip to the moon is looming around the corner, there’s always hot mic hype NASA is getting ready for the mission. THE MISSION THAT NEVER LEAVES. How far is the moon from Earth: 238,900 miles or 384,400 km !!!!! Did you know recently the joint NASA SPACE X Polaris Dawn went 970 miles into space, the longest distance traveled into space by 🇺🇸 astronauts since the SUPPOSED December 1972 mission that “landed on the moon”. 970 miles isn’t anywhere close to 238,900 miles. Make it make sense!

  24. Congratulations to these 4 remarkable women, Katherine Johnson, Dr. Christine Darden, Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson for their incredible courage and determination to change the world this Congressional Gold Medal is well deserved.
