Mohamed Al Fayed, the former owner of department store Harrods, “was a monster” enabled by a system that “pervaded” the London store, a lawyer for his accusers has said.
Al Fayed, who died in 2023, was described as a “sexual predator” who assaulted staff and threatened them over a 25-year-period, barristers representing dozens of women told a press conference in London.
Dean Armstrong KC said it was time Harrods “took responsibility” after allegations against Fayed were made in a BBC investigation this week.

However unfortunate, these women are lucky they live in a society that allows them to make their stories known. The woman who was raped by Communist Mao was subsequently sent to prison where she was gang raped and tortured to death.
