It sounds like this was a bit of a publicity stunt. He could have tried to apologize privately. It’s possible he tried. If Julia and Emma are staying away it’s because they probably had to. He sounds like he was very unsafe. I hope that he is sincere and now just leaves them alone. They will, come around if they are interested or continue to see that he is consistent. It’s hard to trust family members who betray that trust over and over again.

Eric has always played a bad guy. Probably too good because I do not like the movies or programs he plays in.
@pureb7235
Is he still estranged from Julia and his daughter?
@verofunds
He is a very talented actor. Emma too ❤❤
@user-bt9by6kx6j
He is an amazing actor!
@mrlij6534
He doesnt owe her squat. he did put her on the map and insisted that she be on a movie no one wanted her in so she does owe him her career. she influenced his kid not to have a good relationship with him. He is a far better actor than she is , by miles. she is not particularly a good actor at all. whether he had drug issues or not is irrelevant, thats life, many people in the industry have had that, many people in life have had that, u turn your back on family . she and his daughter should be saying thank you to him for launching both of their careers
@thequeenmidas
Well, he was the one who was a movie star first, so he may have opened doors for them by association. I suppose feelings were still raw then for all concerned, so it wasn't his finest moment or utterance. Hopefully time, reflection and the subsequent wisdom has healed all hearts🙏🏾
@NgG-g2n
taking responsibility publicly and apologizing is a huge step and we commend you for it Eric. Well done.
Take note and learn Blake Lively!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@deneenogbeide5087
People forgive but they never forget.
@AA-qb7ni
I had no idea they were siblings. That's a talented family.
@puspavelai8353
The one of those rare times an apology comes out feeling sincere, and heartfelt. If just going by the *chosen words, by a family member to convey a loving, genuine message/apology – then, this gets an 'A' rating☺for now!
@climbjt
Life happens, sometimes sad
@lester10023
Poor guy— sounds like he f–ked up royally. Wishing them all the very best.
@SilkyStyle
Love him❤ He was kind of right
@houchi69
Never too late. Positive news from Hollywood.
@DustyKnowledge
He is so creepy, seriously creepy, a horrible actor! Run Sister run😮😮😮
@Karotsy68
Great actor I always remember him from the movie King of the Gypsies back in the late 70's.
@h.b16
Now I see where Emma gets her terrible attitude.
@renewashington791
Wow 😮 It really IS a *cLosed Industry* HoLLywood and the Music game too. Everybody is SOMEBODY’s sister, brother, son or daughter. NEPOTISM at its finest 🖕🏼
@cuisinerene7156
Wow, never knew that was his brother.
@charissemodeste6489
Maturity takes time.
I hope closure and forgiveness can happen, before it's too late.
I don't know their business and it doesn't concern me.
But I AM saying this as a person who had to forgive, to get back MY PEACE and the person died two days later.
… and YES, it IS HARDER, when it's family.
