“Flip flops” is a bogus phrase. As circumstances change, Vice President Harris changed.

The only bill Trump passed on the economy was tax cuts for the rich that added 4 trillion to our debt. He coasted off the economy that Obama fixed from when Bush was in office. Then in 2020 instead of telling the American people about Covid he kept quiet about it for a month or so never came up with a plan and left it up to 50 governors which just created more chaos which resulted in the highest unemployment rate in modern history. He is the one who caused the inflation with the 8 trillion he added to the economy, it takes around 12 to 18 months of government overspending for inflation to hit the economy. SO even if he won in 2020 the inflation would have still been as bad or maybe worst because at least Biden had a plan to reduce it and Trump has no clue how to fix anything.

Aside from the non sense headline. Biden did remove some of the tariffs, he kept those in place that protect the green energy economy and added subsidies so the costs wouldn't be higher. Specific targeted tariffs for crucial emerging industries offset by subsidies can work. Trumps are indiscriminate and across the board which is automatic inflation. This is extreme grading on a curve, have they ever gone this deep on policy minutiae with the repubs? Lol.

Your statement is not complete to Mr. Buttigieg. You left out that they were asked to come to Springfield to help save the life of the city. So, it is not like the Biden administration just dumped the people in this city.
And the VP does not have the ability to create legislation and put it into action the president is the one with the power in the White House Harris works with the president not over the president.

As a general principle, yes, changing our approach in response to changing situations is a healthy life skill.

But I'm not completely buying that that accounts for Harris' flip-flops. She's a professional politician who says what she thinks will get her votes. Then when she gets in she'll do more or less whatever she wants.
