NASA definitely does more than test space suits on their missions. Private ventures are building on NASA's current and prior research and space program ideas.
On top of this, I feel like NASA has a more sincere dedication to science and humanity. They should remain the leaders and foundation and the soul of our space program.
Private corporation will also benefit in that they will be able to continue to take ideas and research from our nations common wealth space program and then get to pretend they are better.
A win – win.
