  3. As a father of two damaged teenagers, I'm emotionally positive to this, truly in favour. Yet, what is the tech behind this? Is everyone supposed to identify specifically online – age, later, gender, name, address and more? This is balancing on a knife's edge, and the internet has some brilliant features for everyone. Also, where to draw the line? A million games basically function as social media, too. I don't understand how this is to be implemented.

  16. There are no benefits social media offers. Want to “connect” with your friends? Call them, or better yet, physically talk to them. Need to “be informed”? Watch the news or read a book.
    If people survives a hundred years ago with nothing electric in their daily lives besides light bulbs, children can survive without tiktok.

  18. As a parent we didn’t let our kids have phones at such an early age, the parents are the problem. They buy the things. We have kids coming in to school without pens and pencils but they always manage to have a $1200 phone.
