At the time of writing, no Ultra-Rare card is in more Fantasy United line-ups than captain Fernandes.
The midfielder was unlucky not to open his goalscoring account for the Premier League season in our first game against Fulham – having had several dangerous attempts denied by goalkeeper Bernd Leno – and would have had his first assist of the campaign at Brighton had Alejandro Garnacho’s goalbound shot not been helped over the goalline by the offside right knee of Joshua Zirkzee.
Fernandes was at the heart of everything attacking for the Reds in the two matches, from the centre-forward position he has been playing in, and has now been handed key responsibility by the majority of our fantasy managers for Sunday’s match.
If you’re backing Bruno, you’ll be happy to know he’s got history on his side too – no player would have earned more points than his nine in the aforementioned Premier League clash against Liverpool, after he scored our first goal in April’s eventual 2-2 draw.
