Graziano Di Prima‘s wife Giada Lini has finally broken her silence for the first time since the pro-dancer was axed fromStrictly last month.

Giada defiantly shared her support for her husband who was let go from the BBC One ballroom show after the broadcaster found instances of his “misconduct”.

The 30-year-old was accused of “physical and verbally abusive behaviour” towards his 2023 partner, Love Island’s Zara McDermott.

A probe was launched into the complaints shortly after Amanda Abbington complained about her dance partner Giovanni Pernice, who has also left the dance show.

Taking toInstagram Stories on Friday, August 23, a previously silent Giada posted a snap of her hand intertwined with her embattled husband’s. She captioned the image with a simple but forceful: “Noi,” which translates into English as “us”.

Graziano, who wed Giada in 2022, addressed the claims made about him earlier this month. The dancer has denied being an abusive person and plans to return to dancing.

He told Daily Mail: “I didn’t deliberately hurt anyone. I’m not a monster. I’m not an abusive man.” He admitted that he once kicked the floor in frustration in the presence of Zara due to the “pressure of the show”.

He explained he didn’t mean to kick Zara, adding “I’d never, never do that,” but said his foot brushed her after he kicked the floor and said he immediately apologised and gave her a hug.

Graziano said there was “no problem” and the pair continued. He also stated he will dance again, adding he won’t let the claims define him. Following his sacking, Graziano stated: “I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly.

“My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime. Respecting the BBC HR process, I understand it’s best for the show that I step away.”

He continued: “While there are aspects of this story involving external influences that I can‘t discuss at this time, I remain committed to being strong for my family and friends.

“I wish the Strictly family and the BBC nothing but success in the future.” Zara also issued a statement shortly after the claims. She wrote on Instagram: “The entire production team and everyone behind the scenes as well as my fellow contestants were so amazing to work with.

“However, my experience inside the training room was very different. Reports have been made about my treatment on the show and there were witnesses to some events, as well as videos of particular incidents which are incredibly distressing to watch.”

She added that she’d been asked by the BBC to share details of her experience.
